This new set of candles, "Kueka and Amäy Non," is born out of love for our indigenous ancestral roots and to create awareness about the significant cultural contribution that all indigenous tribes provide to all the nations of the world. This collection takes direct inspiration from the Amazonian Rainforest and the indigenous tribes, Yanomami, Pemon, and Yekuana, which form part of us.

With this collection, we want to show part of our Venezuelan heritage and help raise awareness and contribute to saving the Amazon, which is being devastated by forest fires and illegal mining. It would be devastating for the world if the Amazon disappeared.

The Amazon rainforest plays an essential part in regulating the world's oxygen and carbon cycles. It produces roughly six percent of the world's oxygen and has long been thought to act as a carbon sink, meaning it readily absorbs large amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
